HISTORY & FUND SOURCE

Since late 1970s Mr. Chow Sui-cheong and Madam Hui Yuet-chun many times returned from Hong Kong to their hometown ShaoXing, China to fund construction of bridges, roads, schools, and installation of running water pipe circuitry, to donate medical equipment, and to participate in development of public works projects

Their inheritance estate asset in Hong Kong was converted to cash in 2014, which is the year their home province Zhejiang initiated an ambitious water-management program (Five Waters Jointly Managed). Conceptually, to utilize such cash on water pollution abatement projects in China to accommodate their enthusiasm toward their home country would deem appropriate.

The availability of the seed fund prompted accordingly the birth of a non-profit organization "Foundation for Clean Water" (FCW) , on the basis of several enthusiastic people's effort to help abate water pollution plus to help provide quality water.

Relying on contacts available, professional knowledge, and volunteers' enthusiasm, FCW began contributing in China as a priority, and effort later would extend to other populated areas.

FCW is using the seed fund and accepting occasional sympathizers' donation to carry out project activities.
